Radiology report

About: Royal Sussex County Hospital

(as the patient),

I attended an appointment at the Royal Sussex County hospital to review a scan, Unfortunately the consultant could not review the scan. There were 2 reasons for this: the radiology report had been garbled by the speech recognition software and there were no image references on the report.

Please could image references be added to radiology reports.

I was very sorry to learn of the problems you experienced at your recent appointment and appreciate the frustration this has caused you. Thank you for raising this issue and for your helpful suggestion regarding radiology reports which I have shared with the Quality and Safety Manager for Imaging and Nuclear Medicine.
