My wife suffered severe burns and lung damage in a fire at home, which required 10 days in ICU followed by nearly 2 weeks in the Burns ward.
The 24/7 nursing care she received was truly outstanding -compassionate, dignified and vocational - supported by a clinically skilled team of consultants and doctors.
This was the NHS at its very best and I am in little doubt that they saved my wife's life
The after care is proving very good including a sympathetic psycotherapy unit to treat trauma.
