I was only in The Hospital for an hour and was charged £3 for parking. The next say I went to the Freeman Hosp for the same time & paid £!-10. Teesside is a deprived part of the country, with a history of illnesses associated with Heavy Industry and chemical works. particularly the ICI. It is disgraceful that worried patients and relatives should have to pay these extortionate rates. An hourly charge would be fairer.
