Anything else?
Attended walk in clinic at 8.10 7/3/12 with knee injury. Thought I would be seen quickly as only 1 person waiting and I was first a queue with about 4 people behind me - but most of these, plus a few more, were seen before me. Felt that I could have been kept better informed. Went in just after 9.00. Person who saw me was very efficient and pleasant (and she did apologize for my having to wait). I was pleased with her examination, and she told me that a report would be with my Doctor by the end of the day and I should see her re arranging a referal to a specialist etc.
The promised report had not arrived at my Doctor's by Friday 8th, so I could not see her prior to my going on holiday, which was a shame. I made an appointment to see her Monday the 17th - but when I did so she was completely in the dark because the report still had not arrived.
So, initial treatment good. Follow up bad.
