"knee replacement on new years eve"

About: Derriford Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics Livewell South West

(as the patient),

I had a knee replacement on new years eve 2010. The staff on the ward were excellent. I have parkinsons and stayed 2 1/2 weeks until the could see how I was manage at home. I have nothing be praise for all I had contact with in Derriford and Mount Gould were we do our exercise.

Good morning and thank you for contacting Patient Opinion. I was really pleased to note that your knee replacement surgery at the end of 2010 went well and that you had good experiences at both Derriford Hospital, where you stayed for two and a half weeks, and Mount Gould Hospital. I know the teams will be delighted to read your comments and would like to thank you again for taking the time and trouble to let us know.

Best wishes

Mary

Many Thanks for your comments on the care received at Derriford and Mount Gould.

I will be pleased to share these with the team who run the exercise class at Mount Gould.

Kind Regards

Wendy
