"The nurses who were angels - professional, ..."

About: Frenchay Hospital

(as a relative),

What I liked

The nurses who were angels - professional, personalable, caring and proactive in my daughter care.

The playworker were great a keeping my daughter entained and explained all the procedures to her so she could understand what was happening. Stayed with her when she was sedated for a lumbar puncture and was a shoulder to cry on when I needed it (her parent).

The doctors who were professional and give me the confidence I needed when I didn't know what was going on.

The cleaners who did their job with efficently and were personable.

The nursery nurses who were no actually involved in my daughters care but I could she the care they gave to the babies and toddlers.

The house keeping who made my daughter smile when given the choice of excellent food. My daughter really enjoyed all the food. Which was served hot. When she wasn't able to have her meals at the time they were being served they found her something.

An excellent all round team work.

What could be improved

Please could when meals have been served and eaten could cold food and dirty dishes be cleared away promptly. There was more than a few times when plates of cold left over food was left for more than 1 hour. In one incident a milkshake from breakfast was left for 2 hours at least before being removed. This is surely not good practise.
