My Dad who is quite poorly is due to visit again for another blood transfusion. The care and attention provided by the staff at this smallish hospital is great compared to

Stepping Hill, they do their best even when busy and try to keep you informed all the way along, long live the Cavendish! however sorry Dad not been able to go to the Cottage Hospital in Buxton which although an older unit was brilliant. Never had such caring and efficient nursing care as when there.

I am very pleased to hear such positive comments regarding the care provided at the Cavendish Hospital. We did have the opportunity a couple of years ago for both the services and staff to move to the newly refurbished ward at the Cavendish Hospital. The move was to enhance the patients experience and ensure patients receive care in an appropriate environment.
