"Hamilton Treatment Rooms"

About: Douglas Street Community Health Clinic / Phlebotomy

(as the patient),

I was told by my GP practice that they will no longer do routine blood samples and that I now have to go to NHS Hamilton Treatment Rooms for that. Problem is, they don't open as early (1st appointment 8. 40am, as opposed to 8am at GP).

All very inconvenient, as I could call in on the way to work and not have to take time off. Not any more!

Then I discover that they don't do blood pressure checks, which I got at the GP's. I have to make a separate appointment back at my GP's for that. All VERY inconvenient!

Just who is this service set up to cater for?
