Got admitted as emergency re serious headache which i had had for three days before getting desperate.. The pain was unbearable. A doctor saw me in AMU and after discussion organised a CT Scan and Lumbar Punture both of which were carried out within 3 hours of admission. The lady neurologist Doctor who carried out the lumbar puncture was extremely kind and humorous and did the deed with very little discomfort to myself. I was then put in Dunston ward. I awoke on the early hours with unbearable head ache and had to press the bell! A nice person attended within minutes and then organised strong pain killers. This all happened against after a few hours and immediate help came to my aid. Throught out my three days in Dunston, the staff were, without exception friendly, helpful and very attentive. The meals were fine, and even better the doctor found the problem and after treatment was discharged at 2 pm on Sunday totally minus a head ache. Such relief.
