"No real empathy in responses"

About: Darent Valley Hospital / Maternity

(as the patient),

I am awaiting confirmation for an appointment, and thought I would read some reviews as the hospital is often criticised for many negative reasons. I can see there are a lot of complaints about care, or lack of it.

I am appalled that each negative story is met with a response that states "We are sorry", but as you read on there is no real empathy.

I don't suppose I will receive my appointment for some weeks, but if I decided to pay privately I would probably have it in a few days.....watch this space.

Please be assured that we do empathise with each and every negative comment made about the hospital. We do try very hard to resolve any negative comments or issues raised as quickly as possible and hopefully to the satisfaction of those involved.

All feedback is important to us, good or bad as this gives us the opportunity to find out what we are getting right and what we can do to improve if we are getting it wrong.
