"Lack of information"

About: Perth Royal Infirmary / General Surgery

(as a relative),

My wife was admitted to Perth Royal Infirmary by her Doctor.

First told she had gall stones, then diagnosis revised to lung infection, revised again to blockage in the bowel, revised again to kidney stones but sent for colonoscopy as it had already been booked anyway.

Then revised again to muscle spasm and then sent home (after 11 days in hospital) with a carrybag of painkillers and an assurance that further tests will be booked at Ninewells hospital where they have the necessary equipment.

Still waiting 2 weeks later.
