I attended A&E early part of March i had terrible back ache and had trouble passing urine. I was infromed by the drop in surgery to go to the hospital if the pain continued.

I was met by a very stoney Triage nurse she never smiled or made me feel at ease i felt already like i was really putting her out being there.

After entering A&E for treatment after a two hour wait i was left to wonder what was going to happen next there was a lot of doctors congregating around the centre desk laughing and speaking about various subjects . I was eventually seen to given antiobiotics and expalined i had a severe urine infection that was affecting my kidneys. My whole experience was one of dissapointment staff seem to rely on the busy title however i never at anyone time saw anyone running about spending all there time with several patients etc

I was not treated or spoken to for long periods of time i had to ask fro a cup of water and when i did recieve one it was to taek a pain killer. I then asked again if i should be drinking more i was told they would bring a jug but i never recieved it i was attached to my drip so was unable to get water myself i thought that because i was being treated for a urine infection that drinking would be very important. Basically i felt the staff were unfriendly did not show any concern ans spoke more to one another than thier patients. I will try my best to go to another hospital that can be bothered to at least help their patients and not make them feel they have done something wrong, by seeking treatment.
