Anything else?
I had major surgery in February 2013 in Imperial College in Queen Charllottes Hospital to remove a tumor from my pelvis and I can only describe my experience of the hospital as excellent. The Consultant and her team explained in great detail exactly what they were going to do and kept me updated throughout my stay. I now have great trust in the hospital and that team, this was not easy for me to have that trust as I had previously had a bad experience at a hospital in Lancashire so was very weiry but found that I had no need to worry.
I was cared for afterwards on the Victor Bonney Ward and the staff were brilliant. The sisters on that ward had it running so well with their hands on approach, and I felt I could not have been cared for any better. They controlled my pain so well that I was never in pain, had regular updates from the team and Cancer Sisters to visit to check if I needed any queries answered and even a physio to help me with exercises that would help my recovery.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all who helped me through this very difficult time, I could not have been looked after any better, they are an excellent team, such a great hospital, thank you so much.
"Thank you"
