Anything else?
I went through the NHS Direct procedure and was advised to go to the walk in centre at the hospital. I was screened by a nurse within the hour which I thought was reasonable and I was examined by a doctor about an hour and a half later, again reasonable timing. I thought the quality of the advice was good and felt well cared for and appropriate treatment was given. I was put on a drip as I was dehydrated. The doctors gave me a level of detail that I could understand and it was a positive experience.
Fortunately the treatment of antibiotics seems to have done the trick and thanks to everyone that was responsible for my care that evening, Tuesday 12 March.
"Good experience and thanks to staff"
