Well I have just had a inguinal hernia repair at the day surgery. Everyone hates to have any surgery no matter how small the operation may be.

All i can say about my experience with all the staff from front desk receptionists, through to the nursing and surgical teams was exceptional. They are clearly a very happy team there and reflects in the care they give.

I read up all I could about this condition and a lot pain after surgery seemed to be the norm but after following some great advice from my nurse on pain killers, I have had NO pain at all. Just a small dig now and again, so no hardship there.

After the op I was fed coffee and biscuits and back home by 1pm.
