"Good care but lack of privacy at Northern General"

Nursing staff and doctors at the Northern General hospital are very good.

I did not agree with the mixed ward I was on - I would have preferred to have been on a male only ward, or at least a male bay.

There was only 1 toilet to share between both ladies and gents, and it was often not clean.

There was a lack of privacy when discussing my illness with the doctors, and this has made me anxious at the prospect of having to go into hospital again.
