Anything else?
Having been discharged ffrom the Radcliffe Informary trauma unit because they said my elbow was fit for purpose and there was nothing more they could do to improve the situation, I went to the last physiotherapy treatment appointment booked for me in Thame
The physio who treated me said he was not satisfied that my elbow would not give further trouble in the future and advised me to have a second opinion. He offered to talk to our GP and told him he was not happy with the state of the bones in the arm which were not attached and had not knit together..
As a result of his initiative, I have just had an operation to pin the bones together. The arm already feels far less awkward and more stable. No bones clonking around unpredictably. Without your physio's help, I should probably have lived with a deteriorating elbow joint which could eventually have given real problems.
I am very, very grateful to your physiotherapist for taking the trouble to talk to our GP..
