Anything else?
My husband was taken by ambulence following what paramedics suspected was a mini stroke. Whist wired up to a machine to check heart rate etc he had another funny turn. When my son alerted the nurse she was seen to roll her eyes. We pointed out that my husband had become unresponsive she asked us to wait outside & 15 mins later said he was sleeping. An hour later a doctor appeared and said his blood & urine tests were fine & we could go home & didnt show any concern as to whether he had had a stroke. Today we contacted NHS direct who advised us to take my husband back to hosp. This time we went to Darenth Valley & rcvd excellent care. He had a CT scan, thorough examinarion & perscribed medication with an impending appt made for The Stroke Clinic. I am dissappointed that the staff were not concerned enough to look into the possible causes of my husbands symptoms & which we now know to be mini strokes.
