I was a patient in maternity at the Queen's Medical Centre in April of this year. The standard of care which I received was very good, in terms of both medical and nursing care - I was most impressed with the care provided to me by the midwives.
A couple of times I was forgotten about for lunch and dinner and so had to make do with just a sandwich - more attention should be paid to the needs of the patients in some respects.
