"Appointment, cancellation. Appointment, cancellation. 5 times in a row!"

About: Manor Hospital / Urology Queen's Hospital, Burton Upon Trent Samuel Johnson Community Hospital

(as the patient),

After having a hematuria, I visited my Doctor and was given a form for a hospital admittance.

I chose the Samuel Johnson Hospital in Lichfied, I did this online, I got confirmation and duly received a letter of day a time to see a urologist.

A week later I received another letter stating due to unforeseen circumstances this appointment is cancelled and Burton Hospital will be in touch with you. I waited seven days no contact with me.

Rang Samuel Johnson Hospital they knew nothing about me, you need to ring Burton Hospital. I did this, and they knew nothing about me either.

So I made another appointment. Received a letter of appointment, and a week later another cancellation.

Over the next few weeks I would have an appointment and a cancellation in the same post 5 TIMES.

I gave up, went back to my Doctor and asked to go to the Manor Hospital where I was fast tracked and was seen by a urologist two days later had a cystoscopy, three days later, had a catscan, and they found the problem.

Burton - get your act together.
