Although I obviously didn't choose to have my operation I was very satisfied with my overall treatment in hospital. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and did everything to put me at ease. Post -op they were very caring and nothing was too much trouble even though they were busy and short- staffed. The ward was clean and the food looked OK although I didn't really sample it.

As I am shortly to have another operation there it has made me less apprehensive about my visit.
