"High standard of care at becklin centre"

Having been a patient in becklin centre for 8 weeks I was fortunate to have access to the healthy living team which included the dietician, physiotherapist, personal trainer in the gym and the activities worker. These professionals helped ensure a holistic approach to my recovery was offered. Each of these professionals were person centred in their approach and made me begin to believe recovery was possible. The interactions I had with these four people made me feel cared about and encouraged me to believe hope was possible.

Being an inpatient was a difficult and at times traumatic event where I felt I had lost control and had little resources left to cope with day to day life. Seeing these people and being offered distractions, new ways of living and a holistic approach to my well being we're key to my recovery. I hope to continue to put the advice and health plans into action as I go home.

I want to thank all at the healthy living team and encourage them to continue to provide such a high standard of care.
