"Where is the empathy on E34 at Barnsley?"

I was a patient on ward E34 at the Barnsley District General hospital in May of this year.

I strongly feel that nursing staff on the ward should not tell you straight away (and keep on telling you) that you will be going home before you have recovered from your operation properly, even when you are not a day case. This makes you feel like you are just a number (not a person), when in fact you should be allowed to rest when you are still recovering from theatre.
