I underwent spinal surgery with the doctor and his team, and am so very relieved I had such amazing care. From the moment I was admitted, the staff were caring and understanding. I felt I was treated with the utmost dignity at all times. There was a calm relaxed atmosphere which went a long way to calm my nerves. The staff all seemed to communicate with each other in a very organized manner all the details of my care, it was all so thorough, I felt safe in their hands. I also must thank the housekeeping staff for their care and attention to detail, even down to making sure that I was able to manage my meals and drinks when I was unable to sit up. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them!. The nursing team were simpy outstanding, I could not of been in a better place. Again, the level of communication was fantastic, everyone was on the same page. After having previous surgery in another hospital in West Sussex and leaving with an infection and feeling very unwell, in contrast, I left Goring Hall, feeling immensely better than when I went in. I am certain this has contributed to my continuing recovery at home. I feel so blessed to have received the care that I did, and my life is no longer on hold.
