No real comlaints about this hospital except getting information out of the staff about my mother. Also she was given medication which she is alergic to and wears a band to say that she is allergic to the medication. Our observations brought good reponse and reactions from the staff. These should not have been necessary but were appreciated at the time.

I am sorry you did not get a response at the time, some problems with the website meant we did not see your comments at the time.

I am sorry that there was some aspects of the care provided, including our communication with you, which were not of the standard we would expect, especially where patient safety is concerned. I am glad you were able to raise your concerns and got a good response.

You may be interested to know that since then we have put extra measures in place to make all staff aware of patient allergies and this should guard against any situation like the one you describe. Thank you for your feedback, it is appreciated.
