I am so sorry that your wife's operation was cancelled; please be assured that we do not take such decisions lightly. At times, and especially during the winter months the hospital can be under severe pressure and we unfortunately struggle to release beds. I appreciate the worry and anxiety waiting for an operation can cause and then to have it cancelled is a severe blow. When this does occur the service works hard to reschedule as soon as possible and I hope that if yuou have not heard already then you will do so soon - if not please do not hesitate to get in touch with us. Please pass on my apologies to your wife.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback; I am so sorry that your wife had her operation cancelled - I can appreciate how you must feel especially if she had been waiting so long in the first place and I know how we emotionally prepare ourselves for surgery so having it cancelled is a real blow. Decisions to cancel an operation are not taken lightly and even when the hospital is extremely busy such as it has been over recent months with the prolonged winter weather we try our utmost to ensure scheduled treatment continues. Please accept our sincere apologies and I hope you have now received a rescheduled date.
