Anything else?
I went to A & E in the autumn of 2011. I had a taxi to take me very late at night. I had a problem and was afraid. This is why I went to hospital. I went to the Receptionist and I was not waiting too long before a nurse called me. She examined me and she said that she did not want me to go through a lot at my age. She called the lady doctor they treated me with the utmost kindness from all three ladies, (Receptionist, Nurse and Doctor) I have written to the hospital to thank them.
On another occasion in Jan 2012 I was taken into A & E because I collapsed. I must have needed an injection of anti biotics and they gave me penicillin and I had a relapse, I could hear voices where people were saying try this and try that (I was semi conscious). I then went unconscious and my sister said they took to eye dependency unit. For a period I was unconscious and my sister said the doctor had told her that I had used all my reserves fighting the relapse. I found out that I am allergic to penicillin as a result of this visit. All the treatment I had at eye dependency and ward Breeley 6 was done with the utmost care and respect.
They also arranged for me to go to the allergy clinic and now I wear and SOS necklace
