About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital

Anything else?

I am writing to you to express my overwhelming satisfaction of the treatment (re above operation) that I received during my recent stay at The Royal Hallamshire Hospital. With the NHS receiving unwelcome publicity of late I feel that it is my duty to inform you that I have just received the 5 Star Gold Standard treatment from every member of staff that I came into contact with during my stay. From the initial reception and admission into TAU through to my operation and aftercare on Q3, the trouble that each and every member of staff went to was nothing less than exemplary. I initially thought that the staff members were just being nice and polite, but as I met more and more people this turned out to be their normal code of conduct, everyone seemed to have been handpicked for their role and I just cannot speak highly enough of them. They have in my opinion “done you so proud” and I would like for you to pass on my best wishes although I did this to as many people as possible before I left. During my stay I also observed numerous other patients receiving care and the care they received from each member of staff was above and beyond the call of duty and a credit to the NHS and yourselves at The Royal Hallamshire. I cannot remember the names of the staff because there were so many. I do not normally send letters about good service but having to undergo major surgery and being somewhat nervous I have never felt in safer hands and would gladly pass on my comments to others in the future and feel that it can only help morale if people pass on their best wishes. I have since returned home and had my stitches removed from a local nurse and now that I am able to see the area of entry of the operation I am absolutely ecstatic at the results and I am full of admiration for the standard of work. I would like to say a massive thank you to all of the staff at The Royal Hallamshire Hospital.

The very best of regards and appreciation
