"Access to Anticoagulant Dept"

About: Royal Berkshire Hospital

Anything else?

It would be a good idea if the number of the Anticoagulant monitering service was printed on the Therapy record sent out to patients. I have tried to contact the Dept on a number of occasions but have to go via the main switchboard on each occasion as the number is not known or displayed anywhere.

Dear Mr Squires

The direct telephone number for the Anticoagulant Clinic is printed on the centre flap on the reverse of the results section of every patient's Therapy record. In addition, the telephone number is included on the yellow Alert Card that every patient using the service is advised to carry with them at all times.
