I had radical protatectomy for intermediate stage Prostate Cancer in February 2012. I had no post operative pain. I was catheterised for two weeks following the Op, but I quickly regained full continence once the catheter was removed. After this procedure, one can't produce seminal fluid and the side effects can be quite daunting. However, I am now 12 months after the Op and I feel I have made a full recovery and my life now is every bit as good as it was before my cancer was diagnosed. The surgeon was great. The nursing team at Arrowe Park were brilliant too - a real credit to the NHS. Thank you
