"Do not be alarmed by Diagnostic Endoscopy"

About: John Radcliffe Hospital

Anything else?

My pre visit anxiety before my Diagnostic Endoscopy examination was quite unjustified.

Every person introduced themselves with their name and a welcoming smile. Each procedure was carefully explained, painless and with hardly any discomfort - this without any sedation.

As I was wheeled into the recovery Room for a cup of tea and biscuits! My lovely nurse was singing quietly and I said that if I knew the words I would join in. You can get some idea of the atmosphere in the department from this.

This review is written for two reasons - firstly to thank the doctor and his superb team, and secondly to provide reassurance to anyone who visits this department to know that they will be extremely well cared for from every point of view.
