"when i had concussion"

About: Lincoln County Hospital

Anything else?

im only 17, and when they diagnosed me with a head injury they discharged me onto the street. in that time i was found on the street by someone i knew luckily and taken home. otherwise i was nearlly hit by a car trying to walk 2 and a half miles home with concussion and dizziness. I cant really remember what went on. i knew they knew i was walking home but they dont really care about patient saftey.

Also was unwell a week ago and put on drip, as soon as bag finished they discharged me with no follow up, or any ideas on what could have been wrong.

I am really sorry that you had such a difficult time when you visited A&E after your concussion in November 2011; it’ll be difficult to track back and see what happened after such a long time but please accept our apologies – you were clearly feeling very vulnerable and unsupported. In relation to your more recent visit I am sorry and concerned that you were discharged when you remain unsure about the reason for you feeling unwell and having a drip. If you contact us at patient.involvement@ulh.nhs.uk and give us some more details we would be able to look into this for you. Thank you for leaving your feedback for us; hearing from patients about their experience is extremely valuable to us.
