Anything else?
we were told to arrive at 12 and we arrived in good time along with about 6 other patients and their escorts. My auntie who is 86 was soon took through to another waiting area, and then we waited and waited and waited for 6 hours, for a procedure that took 30 minutes, surely it would be better to stagger arrival times,so nobody is left to wait for that rediculous amount of time.We were not the only people wating that long some of the people who arrived with us were still there after we left. We wernt given enough information as to why we were waiting so long or if it was usual practice. In fact one nurse came out and said my auntie was in recovery and then another 10 mins later said she was going in next.It seemed to be just a chaotic mess with structured organisation. Also if people are expected to sit around for so long, please get some comfortable seating in the reception areaas those benches are back breaking.
"waiting around far to long"
