Consultant fantastic- nurses amazing, however some HCA's need serious re training. Very little advice given on how to manage pain at home. Nurses were often having to ring and arrange 'bank cover' for forthcoming shifts- that is clearly an admin job- let the nurses nurse and take care of the patients! One student nurse pulled the cannula out, a junior dr took three attempts to put another in- eventually a nurse came in to the rescue !

I am day 6 after surgery, with no follow up appointment planned- surely someone needs to check the wound etc??

These nurses work hard, and do an amazing job however, tied up with unnecessary admin tasks !
