Patient got something in eye, failed to remove it even after holding under running water for 15 mins.
Phoned Sutton eye unit, took 15 mins to get a response, told to come at 2:15 pm. As I got the patient a few meters up the road, he said it had gone but out of courtesy decided to go and explain the situation. Told to come back in the morning if there was a problem.
Went to optician for previously booked eye test, wouldn't do it until the eye had been examined. Told to go to St Helier hospital for antibiotics.
Waited nearly 4 hours, given a tube of ointment, told to get it checked again 4 days later at Sutton.
Phoned again, told to come at 2 30, got there at 3 30 to find that another 20 or so people were told to come at 2 30. Waited till 515, 2 minute check.
