About: St Mary's Hospital (HQ) (London)

Anything else?

The unit is at times staffed with 4 nurses to 16 patients and this is then sometimes reduced to 3 nurses and 1 carer and this is the high dependency section of the trauma unit.

My friend fell out of bed on 9th Feb and this is in the specialist unit for coma patients, staff didn't advise the family of this it was only found out by family visiting and seen the state of the patient and asked the staff.

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is very concerned to read your comments with regard to the Major Trauma Ward at St Mary's. These have been reported to senior staff in the Unit and I have been assured that that staff are working with the patient's family to address any concerns that they may have with regard to aptient care.

If you have further comments with regard to patient care please contact the PALS service on the ground floor QEQM Building , email pals@imperial.nhs.uk or telephone 020 3312 7777.
