Anything else?
My son had a nasty accident and broke his wrist in several places. He was treated at Darlington hospital A&E on the day and then referred to Pinderfields as his local hospital.
We have had 5 visits dues to complications (nothing to do with the hospital, but a further accident to his wrist) and at all times the staff have been brilliant, very supportive and caring. We've been kept informed of what was happening, had x-rays clearly explained to us, pros and cons of surgery, and generally felt very involved.
Thanks to a team of doctors who were prepared to wait around till 4.30am for a free slot in theatre, Matty is likely to regain most if not all of the use of his hand and we are hugely grateful.
"Fabulous care"
