My Grandmother recently had a 5 week spell in hillingdon hospitial what care ? what food ? if it had not been for her daughter being there night and day looking after her we as a family no she would not be here now and she did go in quite a few departments and all seem to be the same . how do i add this hospital to the list that needs reviewing or closing down it is that bad !!

We appreciate the feedback from patients and relatives and are concerned that you felt that the care was below the high standard that we expect.

It is unfortunate that we were unaware of your concerns at the time as Matron would have met with you to address the issues that you have raised.

When a patient is particularly distressed and confused in new surroundings and family members wish to contribute to their care we welcome them, as we did on this occasion.

The Stroke Unit has recently scored well in an assessment carried out by the by the London Stroke Network and regularly receive positive feedback in our quality audits and Friends and Family Test.

We are very sorry to hear that you have had a poor experience. The head of nursing for Medicine would welcome an opportunity to talk to you to discuss your concerns either in person or via the telephone.
