"Very poor care of elderly patients"

Anything else?

My mother aged 93 was in this hospital to rehabilitate from a fall. She was recovering well when transferred from Redditch hospital.

After just 2 weeks in Bromsgrove she deteriorated. She was having trouble eating, no one helped her. Drinks were left where she could not reach them due to her arthritis. She was prescribed high calorie drinks but nurses kept forgetting to give them to her.

She spilt a cup of coffee on herself and was left asking wet for over 2 hours.

She was having difficulty breathing when I visited one day and had been like that all day...she was only given oxygen when I asked for it.

When I spoke to a dr expressing concern about how quickly she was going downhill he just said yes she was! As if they had given up on her.

No one helped her eat or drink so she only really had a decent drink when I visited.

The care was dreadful...she was treated very badly.
