The old telephone contact details, for Bideford hospital, are still on the internet which is frustrating as you then get a referral to the main Barnstaple switchboard and they keep you waiting ages. When I asked them to see that this problem was resolved, the operator put me on to the supervisor who wanted to pass me on to someone else. having this matter rectified is not rocket science and complaints ought to be addressed and dealt with by the person who first hears about the problem...This is a simple issue of good public information housekeeping...and a telephonist should be able to pass that message on to someone who can deal with it.

Neither the telephonist who eventually answered the phone or the supervisor was in the least bit interested in taking any ownership or the problem just wanted to pass it on. Their standard of professionalism and customer care is non existent.
