Yet another possible closure, it really is disgraceful that the moving of the Vascular surgery unit to Watford is luring considered.

As a patient who had an abdominal stent operation in November last year I cannot speak highly enough of the excellent treatment I received.

I had an EVAR operation and was extremely nervous and the caring surgeons and their team were excellent, and the nursing staff, although extremely stressed from lack of staffing were absolutely excellent.

It seems to me very short sighted of the MESCG to consider moving Vascular surgery to Watford General Hospital when it is a much needed and valuable service here at the Lister Hospital.
