Hospital staff ignored the needs of my elderly gran who was left in a private room for hours on end without a television and was ignored when she asked for help.

She was immobile and needed help when going to the toilet but was left waiting for ages and consequently had accidents.

Hospital staff kept her in there for 6 weeks and didn't find out what was wrong until it was too late. One doctor passed her off to a surgeon who passed her off again to the previous doctor as they couldn't decide what to do.

I have since been asked to go to this hospital and vowed that I will never return to such a disgraceful place ever again.
