I presented with chronic kidney pain at 1 o'clock the morning. in a panic i rang 999. the emergency services kept asking questions about my condition in so much pain I could hardly answer.but patiently calmly he continued. he assured me ambulance service will be with me as soon as possible.
35 minutes later they arrived. ambulance staff were brilliant. after assessing the situation adminstered morphine. which was a great relief after shaking with pain. they took down every relevant details with humor and calmness. all the while taking notes of my condition and administering relevant injections.
at the hospital the doctors and nurses processed my condition with relevant blood tests and. ecg monitors . all through the discourse I questioned whether a process was necessary. after giving historical information about previous cti scans
the doctor confirmed the previous cti indicating 2 millimetre kidney stone this saved the expense of further scans. and confirmed probable cause . hence after passing a stone in the urine I was able to leave for home. I was very satisfied with the conduct of the personnel. calm resolute atmosphere far removed from holby city drama. thank heaven for our nhs. but as a patient become informed and don't be afraid to question why procedure may be necessary after all it's our health.
