"The care on Snibston Ward"

About: Coalville Community Hospital

Anything else?

My Mother has been resident on Snibston Ward for the last 20+ days transfering from the LRI after suffering a Stroke. I can honestly say that the whole time my mother has been there i cant find one thing i can say negative about the care she received, the staff, specialist depts, meals and the cleanliness of the whole hospital. I felt i should write this review as many negative things are written but not often are the positives given . My mother was treated with the upmost dignaty from everyone who she came in contact with, was given help from Physios Dept, OT Dept and not forgetting SALT. All who helped regain a lot of her mobility giving her back some independance in her personal care, got her back eating and even talking all of which we thought she wouldnt do again, they worked to get her back to as near the abilities she had befor the Stroke , enabling her to return to the Resedential Home she lived in before prior to the Stroke. All her family thought that she would have to move and we would have to find a Nursing Home for her but thankfully this didnt happen. I cant speak highly enough about this Hospital and especially Snibston Ward. I would like to say a big thank you to you all.
