Anything else?
Up side
My husband was taken to A+E in quite a lot of pain.
Although they were very busy at the time, he was seen promptly by some very caring staff.
After being made comfortable he was admitted into Castle ward, where he spent almost 48 hours.
The staff there treated him with respect and made him feel as though he mattered.
He was then moved on to Coombes ward.
Again he was treated very well and was made to feel as though he was being dealt with as he should have been.
Most of the staff in Coombes were cheerful as well as helpful, even though they were run off there feet.
In total he stayed in the hospital for a week and will not be worried if he ever has to stay there in the future.
Down side
One or two members of the staff in Coombes could have been a little happier, though I can well understand their mood as they all work very hard as the hospital is understaffed.
"Hubbys hospital stay made a little better."
