"Poor cleanliness at Ormskirk District General"

About: Ormskirk & District General Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

(as the patient),

I attended the Ormskirk DIstrict General hospital as an outpatient for an x-ray earlier this month. I washed my hands before going into the department, as the hospital want everything to be clean and they are asking everyone to make sure that they wash their hands. But, a sign on the wall which said to "wash your hands" was on a large pink board and it was very dirty - what does this say about the hospital standards then?

Dear Vet475,

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments. You are absolutely correct about that particular notice board in the x-ray department, it was not the best type and was difficult to keep clean and it has now been removed.
