I came into the A&E on a Sunday night and was very impressed with the attitude and care that I was shown by the doctor and his crew. There was a bit of a wait (one hour) but the waiting room was very accommodating with plenty of reading material and the reception staff were very friendly.

Once I was 'taken through' I was very well looked after and was kept informed every step of the way of my treatment. I was also impressed with the cleanliness of the department - it looked brand new.

Overall, I think Hexham hospital did a great job.
