We had our first born daughter on 21st January 2013 during the heavy snow. Dispite problems with staff being abe to get through the snow and a very very busy maternity unit the care from all the staff was excellent. I had to stay 3 nights in total and during my stay the support for me was superb, all the different staff helped me through the difficult and emotional first days of being a mum the struggles of breast feeding, without their help I would have given up on breast feeding. I had to have several follow up appointments due to slight complications with the birth, through all of these the care remained excellent. A huge thank you to all the staff from Lizzie and Richard with baby Emilia-Florence.
