"Day surgery"

About: Epsom Hospital

Anything else?

I had surgery in daycase ward August 2012 and then in theatre annexe December 2012, both at Epsom. The nurses in both wards were caring and could not have been more supportive not just to me but also to my worried husband.

Thank you for taking the time to let us have feedback about the care you received at Epsom Hospital last year.

I am sorry to hear that you needed surgery and hope you made a speedy recovery from both operations.

Our nurses, doctors, midwives and other staff work hard to provide our patients with the best possible care and it's really nice to get feedback.

Your point about your husband it very important. Good hospitals must make sure the relatives of patents - as well as the patients themselves - receive support and advice. Having a relative who is undergoing an operation can be a very stressful time.

Thank you again for your comments. I have shared them with the teams involved.

Pippa Hart

Director of Nursing
