"Doctor's compassion saved my life"

About: Blackpool Victoria Hospital / Rheumatology

(as the patient),

I had a Rheumatoid Arthritis appointment 2 weeks ago. I went into consultation room where I was introduced to Dr Bag(?). Signatures are always hard to read. What a fantastic doctor. I was there for Arthritis, but was so down I had taken an overdose on New Years Eve. She sat and listened to me about my state of mind. She could have easily said go to your doctors. I thank her so much, because I was thinking bad thoughts, but came out off hospital feeling a bit better. That bit better saved my life. I hope you can find the Doctor and thank her, please. Fantastic hospital.

Many thanks for your very kind words. I will ensure we pass this comment onto the doctor who saw you.

Regards
